Metric’s fourth full length studio album and their first since 2005’s globe dominating record “Live It Out”, which spawned the smash hit “Monster Hospital” and landed the band on everything from TV shows (like “Grey’s Anatomy”) to the arthouse cinema. And it certainly has been a long time coming.

Fronted by the talented Emily Haines, Metric have garnered acclaim for their combination of synth-driven pop and melodic rock. This outing sees the band record a dense and intriguing record which recalls the sound and influence of great alternative bands of the nineties such as The Breeders and the Smashing Pumpkins.
